Wow. THE END.
Such a strange experience to write those two words.
For the past six or more years this story has been a major part of my life. I didn’t know how it would end until I actually typed those last words. It matured with me. Grew, as the books became a reality.
It’s not anything as monumental as an empty-nest syndrome. Because I have new characters lining up in a new series. But it has been an important part of my life. This story, these characters have shown me what I really want to do in life. If you like; what my legacy will be, though that sounds a lot more dramatic than I would like. My journey has been one of discovery, a few “downs” and most of all lots of “ups”.
I’ve loved it, raged against it, but grown with it. Thank you for joining me on the journey. I hope you will continue to accompany me on my next one.
I’ve loved the time I spent in the minds of my characters and hope that you enjoyed it too.
The End. Yes it is.
For now.
