What do you prefer? an e-book or a paper book?
or maybe you like both? Like me.
If you believe the Internet e-book sites, printed books are redundant. Pre-historic almost.
But are they?
It all depends on who you ask. There are still a lot of people, and I’m one of them, who enjoy reading paper books as well as e-books. For me it depends on where I am. I read ebooks in the train on my way to work. But if I really want to sit down and enjoy reading, or in my case, slide into the warm water of the bath and grab my book, it’s usually a printed book. For me there is still that certain old fashioned comfortable feeling of literally turning the page.
Besides, if you’re as clumsy as I am, it’s better to read printed than run the risk of dropping the e-reader into the bath.
The difference in preferences has prompted me to have both e-book and printed versions of my books. All of them–except Warmonger, the free novella–are, or will be, available as a printed book. I got the proof in for The Beast Inside, and with some last tweaks, that should be ready in a few weeks.
To celebrate that the books are all available in print, I’m holding a small contest.
If you buy one of the e-books in April, you can enter a lottery to win a set of signed printed versions of all three books. Yes, That’s right: ALL THREE!
Just mail your proof of purchase to info@moniquesingleton.com and I will add you to the list. On May 1st, I (I’ll probably let some one else do that to be absolutely objective) will randomly select the winner and send him, or her, their great prize.
To make it even sweeter, there will be another special offer on Nature of the Beast from April 13th to April 19th. Nature of the Beast will be discounted from $4.99 to $0.99 due to a feature deal at BookBub.
So why not join the contest and see if you can win the printed books. Then you can decide which are better: e-books or printed ones.
