I know. I know. I’m a day late again.
But this time I have a good excuse.
I’ve been to the London Book Fair.

It was fantastic. I’m still processing all the things I heard and saw there.
Just in case you don’t know what the London Book Fair is; it’s the biggest book fair in the world. Three full days of everything that you can possibly want with regard to books, reading, publishing and thousands of book lovers to boot.
The Olympia venue in London is massive. Seven halls, most of them with two levels. All full of books, publishers and more. In the west hall a whole floor is reserved for the authors. Every day there’s a full program of forums, seminars and inspirational interviews. For authors, editors, publishers; this is the place to be.
I came back home yesterday evening late after a thoroughly exhausting but very inspirational trip. I spoke to so many people in the industry that my head is still reeling. On Tuesday I even met with an agent from United Agents of London, (only one of the biggest Agencies for TV and Film) to exchange ideas about introducing the Primal Series to the film industry.  On Wednesday I met an editor from Sweden who introduced me to publishers and agents in Scandinavia. And those are just a few of the fantastic opportunities that I am now following up on. Throw AudioBooks into the melange and you will understand why I’m so tired.

This is the view from the upper gallery of one of the halls. There were representatives of every major book publisher, all the promoters. Film and TV industries. Everyone who is anyone in the literary world was there.

There were seminars all day long in the Author HQ. everything from starting on the road to publishing to how to market your work and extend the reach of your communities.
As a result I have an overload of information. Tons of ideas and many new friends and contacts. This year has the potential to be a great year for me. Just as long as I can catch up on the sleep that I missed.

One of the most interesting moments was when a forum took place with four well known authors who spoke very openly about the start of their career, the bumps they encountered underway and what they did to overcome them.

The authors were all very approachable and extremely helpful in answering any questions that I had.
Definitely a week well spent.

While I recuperate, here’s some books for you to read.

Assassin. Private Investigator. Cat shifter.

Suddenly, things have become purrfectly exciting.

An urban fantasy full of cats, secrets and murders. This is a slow-burn reverse harem where Kat will find her love interests over time. Book one in the Catnip Assassins series.

Nature gave her a gift.
Evil turned it into a curse.

Astrid doesn’t remember much about her childhood, at least not before her parents death. After that her memories of the group home and the other eleven boys and girls that lived there are vague and scary. But not as scary as the doctors she had to visit each week or the shots that they gave her.
But she isn’t a child anymore. She’s an adult and with her mentor’s help, has carved a life for herself and the powers she wields. She’s safe. She’s capable. She’s super.
Until it all comes crashing down and the past races back into her life.
She’s not alone in her abilities and one-by-one she’ll find the others
like her. She’ll form a team. Find heartache and love.
Ultimately she’ll have to take down one of her own.

That’s what it means to be one of the Elite.

In the darkness of night, desire reigns supreme.
The sins of the past live on in the present…

Carefree submissive Natalia Adams lived the dream of a promising future. Her life at Inferno, the city’s most exclusive BDSM club, was everything to her until she was thrust into a living nightmare. Now a lynx shifter, and a detective trying to help victims like herself, she hides behind more than one mask to keep herself veiled from the world. When a murder case takes a dark turn, will she be able to rely on her animal instincts to keep her alive?

Seven years, seven murders…
Ryder, a male submissive at Inferno, is devoted to the lifestyle and one very hard to pin down Domme. An incubus that feeds on negative emotions, he is also a Doctor of Psychology specializing in BDSM related crimes. When yet another murder occurs, he is asked to assist Detective Natalia Adams. Sometimes the truth is hiding in plain sight, and all it can take is one kiss.

The whisper of the cane can bring them heaven or hell…
Cage still dreams about the sub who got away. Natalia was his fantasy girl and the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. As the new owner of Inferno, he still can’t get her out of his mind. His wolf wants their mate back and they aren’t taking no for an answer. A discovery is about to rock his world and bring the past and future colliding together. If only he has the courage to embrace it.

Suzanna Kane’s move to big-city Boston might have been the first failure in Plan: Adult Life that a bottle of wine couldn’t fix. The only thing unpacked in Zanna’s new post-university, parent-free apartment was her pet fish. And it was dead.

…As was the body she stumbled over later that night.

These feel like omens for something fishier when an anonymous author starts emailing a chapter a day to her publishing firm of a serial murder plot that all too coincidentally seems to mirror her own life, blurring reality and fiction and threatening to leave her belly up in the Charles River no matter how many pets she replaces to appease Karma.

Soul-stealing pirates. Dragon royalty. Devious mermaids.

Time is running out for half-blood, Rowen. Though she is a lady-in-waiting to the princess of Withrae, the two princes of the Dragon Court vie for her affection. She spends her days playing a game of seduction, but her nights are filled with frightening nightmares. But, for Rowen, nightmares are more than that.
They are prophecies, and lately she’s been seeing her own death.

The taunts of her sleepless nights are realized when she is framed and sentenced to death for murder. For a human, there’s nowhere to run and no one to turn to in a kingdom where power is tightly held by full-blooded dragon shifters.

It will take a stranger from the shadows to save Rowen from an unjust execution and reveal a truth full of terrifying potential. She must face her fears, navigate through dangerous lands of magical creatures, and find the courage to accept her fate, awaken her gift, and set the world on fire.
A new world of mythical creatures and epic adventures await. Embark on a coming of age journey that will leave you breathless.

Ever sent a letter to the wrong person by mistake?
I did when I was eight years old, and then I was visited by the Lord of Hell himself.
But there was no real mistake. Not then when I was just a kid, and not now that I’m a woman.

I wanted a puppy for Christmas.
And a puppy is what I got.
Only, Melkor, son of the Lord of Hell’s finest Hellhound warrior was given to me not as a gift, but as a Guardian.

And when Melkor goes missing, I’m given the only option a best friend has.
I fight fire with fire and become a woman possessed—a mortal woman, that is.
He’s been my best friend, my Guardian, for almost my entire life…but now, as I travel to the Underworld to save him, I realize he’s so much more.
Melkor says after me, Hell is easy.
I guess I’m about to find out.

Human, private detective Anna Caill isn’t keen on the prohibition of magic enacted by the 18th Amendment, but she won’t deny it’s good for business. The coppers couldn’t care less about the witches’ problems, giving her any number of clients to choose from.

When mysterious witch Jesse Hunt saunters into her office, he and his case will test her limits. While a killer stalks the magical underworld, Anna is hired to find Jesse’s friend, the high priest of an ancient coven.

As her case unravels, Anna is forced to confront her addiction to a dark spell in this urban fantasy noir.
